A valuable racing bike worth £1,800 has been stolen from St Albans.

Herts Police are appealing for information about the cycle, which was taken from a house in Alexandra Road between 11.10pm on Friday May 5 and 7.45am on Saturday May 6.

The Cannondale bike is black and green.

PCSO Adriano Russo asked anyone who saw or knows something to come forward: “Have you been offered a bike fitting this description for sale?

“If so, we would like to hear from you. Perhaps you saw someone acting suspiciously near the address at the time of the theft?”
