Bike theft in St Albans

The red Voodoo BMX bike is worth around £150 and was stolen from a garage in Townsend Drive between 6.30 – 7pm on Thursday, May 16.

PC Shaun Woods, from the St Albans safer neighbourhood team said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has been offered a boys BMX bike for sale.

“The boy is extremely upset that his bike has been stolen and we will do everything we can to return it to him.”

He added: “Always make sure you keep your valuables, including power tools and pedal cycles, secure.”

Anyone with information, or may have been offered the bike for sale, should contact PC Shaun Woods on the non-emergency number 101.
