Bike stolen in Harpenden garage break-in

Police are asking to speak to people who saw the alleged attack.


A bike was stolen from a garage in Harpenden when intruders broke in overnight.

The theft took place in Wendover Close between 10pm on Thursday, April 6 and 7am the following morning.

One or more thieves broke into a garage and stole a pedal cycle. According to Neighbourhood Watch, the bike is a slate grey Saracen Urban bike with blue handle grips.

Police enquiries are ongoing and anyone who has any information which could assist the investigation should call the Herts Police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number F2/17/683.
