Rumour has it that the Beckham family are house hunting in and around the St Albans village.
ACCORDING to national newspaper reports, David Beckham and wife Victoria are looking to move to the Wheathampstead area because they feel their current home in Sawbridgeworth – dubbed Beckingham Palace – isn’t private enough.
Posh Spice Victoria Beckham, who is now a successful fashion designer, grew up in the county and her parents still live in the area.
The celebrity couple, who are expecting a daughter in the summer, are understood to be relocating to England when former Manchester United footballer David’s contract with LA Galaxy expires at the end of the year.
It is also believed that David and Victoria have shown an interest in sending their three boys – Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – to Haberdashers’ Aske’s Boys School near Radlett which Matt Lucas, Sacha Baron Cohen and David Baddiel all attended.
