London Colney FC are holding a family fun day on Saturday, July 15, complete with BBQ and hog roast.

The free event is at Cotslandwick Park at 12pm.

It is followed by the game against Kings Langley FC which kicks-off at 3pm.

The club’s new chairman Gareth Davies said: “London Colney are about to embark on an exciting new chapter in its history.

“The idea of the family fun day was to bring the local community and the football club together and we look forward to hosting a good day for all.”

London Colney FC was saved from folding by a veritable dream team of Gareth and former Watford striker Ken Charlery.

The fun day will also feature live music, the club’s bar, inflatables, and face-painting.

It is hoped the event will help the local community learn a little more about their local football club.
