PUPILS at a local school got a visit from a special guest during their book week.

Children's author Anthony Lishak (above) went along to Manland Primary School in Harpenden to give a talk during the week-long event.

The librarian also spoke to the children, a read-a-thon was launched and the pupils got the chance to write and make their own books.

To celebrate the week further, the students dressed up as their favourite book characters.
