A MAN in his sixties is being sought by police following an attempted robbery in St Albans on Saturday afternoon ( October 3).
An 18-year-old woman from St Albans was walking along a bridlepath on Jersey Lane at 3pm when a man who was walking in the opposite direction approached her and blocked her way.
He tried to grab her bag from her shoulder but she managed to pull herself free and run off.
The man was white and around 6ft tall. He was reported to have been wearing a long blue trench coat and a blue hood or cap.
