A TEENAGER was assaulted by a man in St Albans city centre on Saturday afternoon.
The 18-year-old girl was walking along St Peter's Street close to the junction with Grange Street when she was approached by a white man in his early twenties who spoke to her briefly.
He then assaulted her and ran off. Although very shaken, the girl was uninjured.
The attacker was described as being of average build and wearing a dark hooded top and blue baggy jeans.
