A COUPLE were threatened with a hand gun during an aggravated burglary in Radlett yesterday (Tuesday) evening.
The culprits wearing balaclavas broke into an address in Newlands Avenue through the rear of the property at around 7pm.
Once inside they threatened the man and woman inside before leaving with jewellery and cash.
The man was left with minor injuries but the woman was unharmed.
The burglars are described as white and wearing black balaclavas and dark clothing, with one was holding a gun and the other a cosh.
Detective Sergeant Mark Clawson is investigating and said: “This incident has obviously left the victims very shaken and we are extremely keen to track down the men involved .I would also like to take this opportunity to reassure people that this appears to be an isolated incident.”
