A woman who helped look after a motorcyclist who was flung off his bike in a collision is being sought by police.
A 19 year old man was riding his motorcycle at about 8.40pm on May 12 when he collided with a red Citroen Picasso.
An eye-witness, who currently wishes to remain anonymous, claims the motorcyclist was ‘flung’ across the roundabout on Hatfield Road in Smallford
He sustained life-threatening injuries and was hospitalised at St Mary’s hospital in London for a number of weeks.
A number of people came to the motorcyclist’s aid and administered CPR before the emergency services arrived, including the eye witness and a woman who police are keen to speak to.
PC Pete Talbot, from the Road Policing Unit said: “There is no doubt that the actions of these people helped to save this man’s life. So far we’ve managed to trace all but one of them and I am appealing for this lady to come forward. If this was you, or you believe you know the identity of the woman, please contact me.”
The lady was aged 20 to 30 years old, had dark hair and was wearing a khaki green parker style jacket with a fur lined hood and black leggings and gym shoes with red laces.
