FORMER winner of The Apprentice Michelle Dewberry shared some of her entrepreneurial skills with students at St Albans Girls School (STAGS) recently.

Miss Dewberry who runs the money-saving website Chiconomise is supporting the work of Enterprise UK, the national campaign to increase entrepreneurial skills.

STAGS was chosen by Enterprise UK to take part in the pilot of a groundbreaking careers advice scheme to inspire Year 10 students to consider self-employment as a career option when leaving school.

Michelle said: "I am really excited to be involved in Enterprise UK's Self Employment workshops in the East of England. I will be doing what I love, coaching young people and empowering them. I hope that the students will take away from the workshop the knowledge that self employment is hard work but very rewarding. It is a real option and we should be encouraging young people to set up their businesses as part of the careers advisory service.
