POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a woman had her bag snatched in Radlett.

The 32-year-old victim was walking in the wooded area along the footpath in Gills Hill Lane at around 6.30am on Tuesday when someone barged past her.

As she looked up she realised the culprit had her brown cord handbag containing cash in his hand.

The thief, who was white and wore a grey hooded top, then ran off towards Watling Street.
