Cats, sheep, rabbits, even pet insects are all being offered a blessing at St Mary’s church at Childwick Green.
On Sunday, September 17, from 11.30am, anyone can visit their church with their pet or its photo and have it blessed.
Parishioner Rod Woodward said: “They are all part of God’s creation so they deserve to be included.”
This is the fifth year the church has run such events, in which time they have helped 30 different pet owners.
