TODAY (Friday) is the last day rail passengers using the First Capital Connect Thameslink trains into London from St Albans, Harpenden and Radlett will be able to travel to Moorgate.

Trains which previously branched off at Farringdon to Barbican and Moorgate -- on weekdays and at peak hours only -- will from Monday run south through City Thameslink to Blackfriars.

Passengers planning to alight at Blackfriars and Farringdon can avoid rush-hour crowds by using City Thameslink which is within walking distance of both stations. More information is available at www.thameslinkprogramme.co.uk
