Luton Airport is holding a public surgery to give members of the public a chance to have their say on aircraft noise disruption.
The event will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Wednesday, August 29 at Sandridge Village Hall in High Street, Sandridge. The public surgery gives aresidents affected by aircraft noise and their representatives an opportunity to meet with the airport’s Flight Operations Team.
The team will provide information and answer questions on airspace and aircraft noise. As the event is organised by the airport operator, they will only be able to discuss current operations and not the future vision to expand the airport which has been proposed by the airport’s owners Luton borough council.
Anti-noise campaign groups have been protesting the rise in noise pollution from aircraft after the introduction of the RNAV navigation system in 2015, which narrowed flight paths.
