PASSENGERS flying from Luton Airport experienced delays and cancellations following problems in air traffic control systems yesterday evening (Thursday).
Seven flights were cancelled when NATS restricted the number of flights taking off and landing because of a fault in one of the systems at the London Area Control Centre at Swanwick in Hampshire.
Other London airports were affected but air traffic operations returned to normal at 7pm.
