An air ambulance landed on a football pitch in St Albans yesterday (2) morning to treat a woman in her 50s.
An air ambulance landed on a football pitch near Cottonmill Lane, St Albans, on Wednesday morning to treat a woman in her 50s.
Magpas Air Ambulance were called out at 9.15am after a woman slipped on an embankment while she was out walking.
The woman was given pain relief and sedated at the scene after sustaining a serious leg injury.
She was then taken to Watford General Hospital by land ambulance where she is in a stable condition.
