A MAN was swinging on a rope suspended from a tree when it snapped and caused him to fall to the ground yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
The incident happened at around 4pm in Langley Wood, off of Sandridgebury Lane in St Albans. It was initially thought that the middle-aged man might have sustained head injuries and an air ambulance landed.
But paramedics treated the man at the scene and he was not taken to hospital.
St Albans firefighters were also called to the scene to assist the ambulance crews.
