INTREPID climbers are being offered the chance of a lifetime to scale Mont Blanc by Iain Rennie Grove House Hospice Care.

At 13,000ft, Mont Blanc is the highest peak in Western Europe and is the ultimate objective for mountaineers all over the world. Although an impressive and imposing mountain, it is also a feasible climbing objective for anyone with a good level of fitness and some previous hill walking experience.

The expedition departs on Saturday, July 2, and takes just six days. There are eight places in all, five are filled and confirmed but the hospice is in danger of losing valuable funds if they can’t find three more people to join the group.
