Preparations are already well underway for 2017 after a Harpenden-based charity took over 270 disabled passengers and those with life-limiting conditions on day trips and holidays in 2016.
The Jumbulance Trust, an accessible travel company, took travellers across the UK and into Europe in 2016 including to Euro Disney, Niederau, Austria, Lourdes in France and the Lord Mayor’s Show.
The small national charity makes travel possible for passengers with disabilities, severe illnesses or significantly dependent individuals by providing accessible coach vehicles which feature stretcher trolley beds, a large accessible WC and washroom, a wheelchair friendly lift, medical equipment and many other features.
