THE Duchess of Cornwall is paying her first official visit to St Albans today (Thursday). She will be spending about an hour at the Abbey meeting members of the Fraternity of Friends. During her visit, which gets underway at 1.25pm, she will also meet Abbey staff and see examples of conservation work and the activities of the education trust. Said Abbey administrator Nicholas Bates: "We are delighted that the Duchess will be visiting us.
