St Albans motorists are warned to be aware of carriageway closures tonight (Monday) on the A1(M) for resurfacing work.
The southbound carriageway of the A1(M) from junction 7 (Stevenage) exit slip road to junction 6 (Welwyn) entry slip road will be closed overnight from today for up to 13 nights. The closures will be from 8pm until 5am.
There will be a clearly signed diversion route via the A602, B197 and A1000 to re-join the A1(M) southbound at junction 6.
Drivers intending to travel on the A1(M) are advised to plan their journeys and allow some extra time to reach their destinations.
