A mother and son remain in hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a St Albans car crash last month.
A forty seven year old man and his mother collided with an ambulance while driving on Watford Road on September 24.
They were cut out of the car and the man was airlifted to Royal London Hospital, while his mother, said to be in her 70s, was taken by land ambulance to Watford General, both in a critical condition.
The pair remain hospitalised, but are now in a stable condition.
The two ambulance crew involved escaped with minor injuries.
