Detectives investigating the murder of a man who was found seriously injured in a car park have found the car they believe he was last seen in, following a public appeal.
Essex Police said two people have been arrested and bailed in connection with the investigation into the death of a man, in his 20s, who was found in a car park in Cheshunt, Hertfordshire on June 22.
He died in hospital four days later on June 26.
Police had appealed to find a silver MG ZS car that the man was believed to have been in before his disappearance and death.
Essex Police said on Thursday that the vehicle had been located.
The force said a 24-year-old man from London arrested on June 26 has been released on bail.
A 17-year-old boy from London arrested on June 30 has also been released on bail.
Detective Chief Inspector Greg Wood said: “Our work has progressed quickly since the man was found with significant injuries in Hertfordshire.
“Two arrests have been made and the MG vehicle, which is a key element of the investigation, has been found thanks to members of the public coming forward.”
He continued: “At the heart of this investigation is a man whose family continue to grieve for him, and they continue to be supported by our specialist liaison officers.”

Detectives believe the man who died had been assaulted.
They believe he had been in the area of Waltham Abbey or Waltham Cross before he was assaulted.
