A man has been found guilty of murder after a fatal stabbing outside a restaurant in Bushey.
Dequarn Williams, 26, of Sancroft Close in north-west London, was convicted of murdering Jeyanthan Ramachanthran, at St Albans Crown Court on Wednesday (June 17).
The court heard how emergency services were called just after 11.30pm on November 29, 2025, outside the Vu Lounge in Bushey, following reports of a stabbing.
Mr Ramachanthran, 32, was found with serious injuries and taken to hospital but tragically died a short time later.
Dequarn Williams, who fled the scene, was arrested the following day after police launched a murder investigation.
A woman in her 30s was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender but faced no further action.
Detective Inspector Lee Martin, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit, said: "Our thoughts remain firmly with Jeyanthan’s family and friends, who have shown immense dignity throughout what has been an incredibly difficult time.
"I’d also like to thank the members of the public who assisted with our enquiries at the time. We now look towards sentencing which is taking place next Monday June 22."
