A Hemel Hempstead nursery has been ranked among the top 20 in the East of England.

Abbot’s Hill Nursery earned the honour based on parental reviews on daynurseries.co.uk, which shortlisted it from 1,461 early years settings across the region.

The achievement reflects consistently-high standards of care and education, with ratings covering everything from facilities and learning to nutrition and management.

Beth Yiallouros, nursery manager at Abbot’s Hill Nursery, commented: “I am absolutely delighted that our Nursery has been recognised among the Top 20 nurseries in the East of England, particularly as this accolade is based on the experiences and feedback of our parents.

"Winning a Top 20 Day Nursery award is a fantastic recognition of everything we strive to achieve each day."

She said the award was a reflection of the relationships the nursery builds with families and the dedication of her team.

“Our staff work tirelessly with genuine passion and dedication, often going above and beyond to ensure every child has the very best start in life," she added.

The recognition forms part of national awards presented by daynurseries.co.uk, a nursery comparison site, which helps families choose childcare by listing all registered nurseries and sharing verified reviews.

Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager at daynurseries.co.uk, said: "We would like to congratulate Abbot’s Hill Nursery in Hemel Hempstead on being rated by parents as one of the top nurseries in East of England.

"It is a fantastic achievement to be valued so highly by the families and carers of children attending the setting."

There are more than 15,000 nurseries in the UK supporting nearly one million children aged three months to five years, with the awards serving as a trusted guide for families in selecting early years care.
