Home Bargains is set to open a new £5 million store in St Albans this weekend.
The store will open at 8am on Saturday, May 9, following months of refurbishment to the unit at Alban Park in Hatfield Road.
The 29,418 sqft store will offer shoppers a range of products, including homewares, health and beauty essentials, sweets, snacks and drinks, as well as fresh and frozen food.
The Home Bargains store will also include an in-store bakery, café and a garden centre.
"We're committed to offering great value, excellent service, and a warm, friendly shopping experience for everyone," said St Albans store manager Manish Dutta.

The store will create 82 new jobs, with Manish adding: "I'm incredibly proud to lead this launch and to welcome 80 new colleagues who will be joining our team.
"Creating jobs locally and becoming part of such a strong community is a privilege."
The opening of the new St Albans store is part of a nationwide expansion of Home Bargains, with the business opening 50 sites this year - adding to its more than 600 outlets across the UK.
