An appeal has been launched in connection with an "upsetting" public order and criminal damage incident in St Albans.

A woman was clearing her windscreen while driving her black Skoda in St Stephens Hill at around 4.45pm on Saturday, March 28, when a man started shouting at her, banged on the window, slashed her tyre and tried to get into her car.

Previously, Herts police released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify as part of their enquiries.
