Met Office: Weather conditions to turn cooler in St Albans

Temperatures will reach around 13°C, several degrees cooler than earlier in the week, giving the day a noticeably fresher feel.

Southeasterly winds will average around 12–15mph, with gusts of up to 30mph possible at times, especially in more exposed spots.

Visibility is expected to remain very good, despite the extensive cloud cover.

Conditions should gradually brighten later in the afternoon, with sunny intervals developing towards the evening.

Sunday will start brighter, with sunny spells during the morning across much of the area.

Cloud will increase through late morning and early afternoon, bringing the chance of scattered light showers.

Any showers are expected to be brief rather than persistent, allowing brighter spells to return later.

Temperatures will peak at around 13°C, with south to south-westerly winds of 10–12mph.

Overall, the weekend will feel cooler and breezier than recent days, but largely dry.
