'Large quantity' of jewellery stolen in St Albans burglary

The break‑in occurred between 8pm and midnight on Saturday, March 14, at a property in the Mayflower Road area of Park Street.

According to police, offenders forced entry to a rear patio door, before carrying out a search of several rooms.

A large quantity of jewellery was stolen during the incident and photographs of the stolen items are being released to the public in the hope that someone may recognise them or have been offered them for sale.

Detectives are particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen suspicious people or vehicles in the area at the time.

Officers are also encouraging residents with CCTV, doorbell cameras or dashcams to review any footage recorded between the material times.
