As previously revealed by The Herts Advertiser, building at three sites in and around St Peter's Street have begun at the same time - in autumn last year.
The developments include retail units at 67 St Peter's Street, which are now being marketed by estate agent Aitchison Raffety.
Plans approved for 67 St Peter's Street include a change of use application for the first floor and part of the ground floor from retail to residential, and the construction of two additional storeys to create 20 dwellings.

According to a listing on Zoopla.co.uk, the 4,176 sq ft ground floor retail space is available at £135,000 per annum, while the slightly larger lower ground floor unit is marketed at £85,000.
Both are described as having "prominent and attractive frontage onto St Peter's Street" and are available for occupation from autumn 2026.
Next door, plans for 69-69a St Peter's Street see the construction of a new four storey block with a ground floor retail unit and 14 flats on the upper floors - there is yet to be a listing for this unit.
Existing buildings, formerly home to Poundland and One Below, were demolished in 2023 and Boom Construction has since begun rebuilding the area.
