A yellow health alert has been issued by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) for Hertfordshire and the East of England.
The alert is in place for cold weather and begins at 6pm on February 17 and lasts until 6pm on February 20.
The agency has said it will have a low impact but is at a medium likelihood.
The alert reads: "Forecast weather is likely to have minor impacts on health and social care services, including:
- Increased use of healthcare services by vulnerable people
- Greater risk to life of vulnerable people"
A yellow alert has been issued across several parts of the UK.
