Thousands of people are expected to descend on St Albans for a six-hour street party this weekend.
The "St Albans Feastival", organised by St Albans City and District Council, will take place on Sunday, September 22.
The event will celebrate the district’s food and drink businesses.
St Peter’s Street will be closed to traffic, with the festival starting at 11.55am and continuing until 6pm.
There will be around 100 market stalls offering a variety of food and drink products from nearby suppliers and hospitality businesses.
Other attractions include a live cookery theatre, featuring displays of culinary skills by chefs and live music on a stage sponsored by St Albans City Centre BID.
There will also be street performers and create and play zones across the site with multiple free interactive activities for all.
Chris Traill, the council’s strategic director for community and place delivery, said: "The St Albans Feastival is a terrific event and I urge people to come along and enjoy all the many activities that are on offer.
"This is also the community’s chance to show their support for our district’s fantastic food and drink businesses and sample some of their produce."
The event is part-funded by the Government’s UK Prosperity Fund.
