As Wilko reopens in St Albans later this month, the store's first 50 customers are set to receive a goodie bag of "Wilko favourites".

Having shut last year, along with all of the retail giant's 400 UK shops, the Maltings branch will reopen as a 'concept store' on Good Friday (March 29).

The city's mayor, Cllr Anthony Rowlands, will appear at a 9am launch event on the day.

The new concept store is one of five that will reopen across the country, "offering shoppers everything they need to get all their home and garden jobs done".
