Staff and customers at a petrol station in London Colney have been subjected to "racial slurs", with police now investigating.

The incident occurred at the Sainsbury's petrol station in Colney Fields Shopping Park on Monday, January 29.

It was reported that a customer had filled a car up with fuel and then left without making any attempt to pay, before shouting racial slurs to staff and customers.

"We are releasing this image because we believe that the person pictured may have been in the area at the time and could have information to assist our investigation," said PC Ashley Billington, investigating.
