St Albans motorists will have 15 road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

Seven of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:

• A414, from 10.30pm January 7 to 5am February 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A414 Watling Street Roundabout, Lane closures for surveying works on behalf of Volkafitzpatrick.

And a further 14 closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M1, from 10pm February 5 to 5am February 10, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 both directions, junction 6 to junction 8 - lane closures for communications on behalf of National Highways.

• A405, from 10pm February 5 to 6am February 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 21 to junction 21A, Lane and carriageway ans slip closure for surfacing works, diversion via National Highways and Local Authorities roads.

• M25, from 10pm February 6 to 5am February 7, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 22 to junction 21A, Lane 4,3,2 closure for repair of signal.

• A414, from 9.30am February 7 to 4pm February 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A414 Both directions M1 southbound, junction 8 to Park street roundabout, mobile works for barrier repairs on behalf of National Highways.

• M25, from 10pm February 7 to 5am February 8, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M25 anti-clockwise, junction 22 to junction 21A, Lane closure for repair of signals.

• A414, from 9.30am February 8 to 4pm February 9, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 Both directions, junction 6A to junction 10, mobile hard shoulder closures for barrier works on behalf of National Highways.

• A414, from 10pm February 9 to 5am February 10, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 southbound,, junction 9 to junction 8 - exit slip road closure, lane closure and diversion route for barrier/fence safety repairs on behalf of National Highways.

• A1001, from 10pm February 12 to 6am February 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A1M, junction 3 Roundabout, Lane and slip road closures for testing works, diversion via National Highways and Local Authorities roads.

• A405, from 10pm February 12 to 5am February 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M1 northbound, junction 8 - entry slip road closure, link road closure, lane closure and diversion route due to communications works on behalf of Ringway.

• M1, from 9am to 6pm on February 13, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M1 both directions, junction 9 to junction 11 - hard shoulder closures due to electrical works on behalf of National Highways.

• M25, from 10pm February 13 to 5am February 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 clockwise, junction 22 to junction 23, Lane closures and slip road closures for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M25, from 10pm February 14 to 5am February 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M25 anti clockwise, junction 22, Lane closures and slip road closures for maintenance works, diversion via National Highways roads.
