A man has been charged with robbery after a passenger pulled a driver from his car, before driving off in Hemel Hempstead.

The incident took place during the early hours of Saturday, January 13, in Paston Road.

At that time, a man was giving another a lift, when the passenger pulled the driver out of his vehicle and drove off in it.

The vehicle was recovered later that day.

Following an investigation, David Payne was arrested on Wednesday, January 31.
