After jewellery was stolen during a burglary in Markyate, Hertfordshire police have released images of the items that were taken.

At around 11.50am on Sunday, January 7, a house was broken in to in Old Vicarage Gardens.

Several items of jewellery were reported as stolen following the break-in.

Investigator Deborah Newsham, said: “Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch.

“We are releasing images of the items so that we can hopefully trace them and return them to their rightful owner.

“Have you seen the items discarded anywhere, or seen them for sale?
