A man from St Albans has been charged with robbery after an incident outside a supermarket in the city.
Gary Jakeman, of New Kent Road, was charged following an incident in February this year, and was remanded into custody after appearing at Hatfield Magistrates Court on Friday, November 24.
On Tuesday, February 28 and the 34-year-old is alleged to have grabbed the victim and taken a quantity of cash, which had just been withdrawn from an ATM outside Morrisons in Hatfield Road.
He has also charged with drugs offences from a separate offence, and is next due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
