Officers from Hertfordshire police have seized a BMW after it was reported as drifting and doing burnouts on a roundabout near Hemel Hempstead.

The incident took place near a housing estate in Upper Bourne End Lane last night (Tuesday, November 21).

The incident follows similar reports of cars racing at Gadebridge Park and Maylands Avenue.

A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Driving in this manner puts other road users and members of the public at risk, as well as the drivers themselves, and is completely unacceptable.

"Members of the public have said they want to see us tackling this kind of behaviour in the town. We've carried out proactive patrols, issued warning notices and seized vehicles as a result.



"We will continue to take action against those who drive anti-socially, to help keep people safe."
