The 2023 St Albans Christmas Cracker saw thousands attend the city centre for market stalls, live music and a host of activities.

The festivities ran from 12 noon until 6pm yesterday (Sunday, November 19) with festive food and drinks available throughout St Peter's Street.

Fairground rides, interactive snow globes and bungee trampolines were enjoyed by residents and visitors alike.

A Santa's grotto, street performers, street theatre and over 100 stalls were included in the event.

CBeebies and Discovery Plus star Maddie Moate - who stars as Tinkerbell in this year’s Alban Arena pantomime - also made a guest appearance.

She toured the event with St Albans mayor Cllr Anthony Rowlands, and mayoress Annie Stevenson.
