Radlett-based trumpeter Chris Smith is bringing his 'Big Band at Christmas' show to the Alban Arena, with a special matinée performance.

The show takes place at 2.30pm on Monday, November 20, and has previously been featured at London's Leicester Square Theatre and on BBC Children in Need.

Chris said: "We'll be bringing all your favourite Christmas songs with the dynamic Big Band treatment from Glenn Miller, Sinatra, Basie, Nat King Cole - jazzing up those Jingle Bells!"

The performance features Simone from the Ivy Benson Orchestra and Chris Smith Jr, a composer and arranger for the BBC Radio Big Band, Herb Miller Big Band (Glenn Miller's brother), and Tony Bennett's trombonist.
