A second property has been closed following an affray, in which knives and hammers were seen.

A closure order for the address - in Lamberton Court, Borehamwood - was granted by St Albans Magistrates' Court on Tuesday (October 24), and prohibits anyone other than specifically named individuals from entering for the next 12 weeks.

Anyone who breaches the order could be arrested and have further action taken against them.

The order follows a fight in the area last month (September), between a group of people with weapons.

Three people were arrested following the incident, and a property was closed in Milby Court.

Senior ASB Officer for Hertsmere, Claire Morris, said: “This is the second such order we have secured this month, as part of our ongoing work to tackle issues in the area.

"Everyone has the right to live peacefully and without fear.

“Regular patrols have been carried out since the incident occurred and I hope this order provides further reassurance around the actions we are taking.

“Anyone with concerns about anti-social behaviour or criminality in their neighbourhood is urged to please report the details to police so that we can take action to make your community safer.

"Your calls can make a real difference."

Cllr Christian Gray, of Hertsmere Borough Council, added: "Hertsmere Community Safety Partnership works together to keep the borough a safe place for all.

"This is an example of how we are working collaboratively to reduce anti-social behaviour and criminality within the borough.”
