A cloned vehicle has been seized at a Starbucks car park following a number of offences.

The incident took place in Chiswell Green yesterday (Wednesday, September 27), when the cloned vehicle was spotted with no insurance.

No driver was found, and the vehicle was seized by officers.

Since an incident on Thursday, August 3 - when a motorist was banned from the location - the car park has been closely monitored by Hertfordshire police.

The Constabulary revealed on Wednesday, August 16, that a number of vehicles had been stopped in the area.

These offences included using a mobile phone while driving, driving with no insurance, non-road legal numberplates, numberplates incorrectly displayed and illegal tints.

A spokesperson for Herts police said: "We’re here at Starbucks, Chiswell Green conducting our daily patrols for any issues surrounding anti-social driving/speeding/traffic offences.

"Whilst here, we’ve come across a cloned vehicle parked up showing no insurance.

"Driver nowhere to be seen. 

"The vehicle (was) subsequently seized."
