Orthopedic-neuro veterinary surgeon Noel Fitzpatrick will be bringing his show to the Alban Arena to offer audiences a glimpse 'beyond Supervet'.

Beyond Supervet - described as an 'uplifting and motivating show full of passion, humour and truth' - will come to the Alban Arena at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 14.

During the evening, Noel will offer fun and fascinating insights into what he has learned from the thousands of animals he has helped throughout his career.

Going beyond the world of his Channel 4 show The Supervet, Noel will explore how caring for animals can help us all, and the incredible impact modern medicine can have on our lives.

Bringing the narrative of his may books to life, Noel will tell stories and anecdotes and explain his vision for the future, accompanied by a powerful soundtrack to reinforce the huge role that music plays in his life.

Noel said: "Through my life and career I have many stories to tell from the animals who inspire me and have healed me through their demonstrations of bravery, openness and kindness.

"This show is an honest and open account about life, and I hope many will relate to it, laugh and celebrate the only thing that matters at the end of it all, love."

From the adventures of Noel's dog Keira to his own personal journey and the hope animals offered him during his darkest moments, Noel's show aims to encourage people to dream big and drive their dreams forward.

Noel said: "Animals make us better people in every conceivable way. I don't think that we can always be our true selves with humans.

"Animals uncork an ability within us to be ourselves and an ability to look beyond the facade that we put up for society every single day.

"They allow us to be ourselves and therefore, to be the best we can be."

Noel is coming to St Albans as part of 25-date tour, starting on September 29 in Folkestone and finishing in Guildford on December 2.

Tickets are available by phoning the box office on 01727 844488 or going to alban-arena.co.uk.
