An 18-metre tall telecommunications pole has been planned for construction in St Albans.

The pole and "associated ancillary works" would be present at the junction between Victoria Street and Stanhope Road, near the St Albans Register Office.

The top of the tower will sit eight metres above the height of existing streetlights and approximate height of trees at the location.
