A woman in her 80s has died following a crash in Radlett.

At around 1.30pm on Tuesday, June 27, a gold Vauxhall Grandland was involved in a crash with a pedestrian on Watling Street.

The pedestrian, the woman in her 80s, was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.

She has since passed away, and her next of kin have been informed.

The Vauxhall Grandland driver remained at the scene following the crash, and no arrests have been made.

Detective Sergeant Ben Heath said: "Our thoughts are with the woman’s family at this very difficult time.

“Our enquiries into this collision are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please come forward.
