A popular chain of pasta takeaways has finally come to St Albans.

Pasta Evangelists, which specialises in fresh pasta, have just opened up and are now available on Deliveroo, UberEats and JustEat.

The company was founded in 2016 and initially entered the takeaway market with a single unit in East London, but has now expanded to cover around 40 sites across the UK.

As well as their takeaway service, customers can order recipe kits online and even go to a Pasta Evangelists restaurant - their first one was opened in Harrods in 2021.

A spokesperson for Pasta Evangelists said that they "serve some of the UK’s freshest, artisanal pasta alongside high-quality sauces, inviting Brits to experience restaurant-quality pasta with minimal fuss" - and suggested you will get your food in "as little as" 15 minutes after ordering.

The varied menu includes the 'Carbonara of Dreams', a wild boar ragú, seafood tortelloni and an 'Ultimate' lasagne.

Alongside their pasta dishes, the takeaway also offers Italian lager, focaccia, burrata, charcuterie, cakes and Remeo gelato.

New customers can currently enjoy 25 per cent off their first Deliveroo order, and Pasta Evangelists is open from 11am until 11pm.
