"Stunning creativity" was on show at Oaklands College's end-of-year fashion show, which this year focussed on sustainable fashion designs.
The event, held on the college's St Albans campus, was part of a week-long exhibition to showcase the talents of all students in the establishment's Art, Fashion & Design department.

The event saw students from across various courses collaborate to produce a sustainable catwalk fashion show.

Donated fabrics and denim were used in the garments, provided by local supporters such as St Francis Hospice.

The theme for this year's event was 'Odysseys', and over 40 art, fashion & design students took part.
Students from the college's hair and beauty departments also collaborated to create "a fantastic and professional aesthetic".

Cllr Annie Brewster, who attended the event, said: "What a delight to see the amazing quality and stunning creativity from Oaklands College fashion students once more.

Fashion student Zac Sawers-Simmons added: "The fashion show was a fantastic opportunity to encapsulate my ideas and creativity to the wider public.
