Popular comedian Ricky Gervais has announced a second show in St Albans after his first sold out within hours.

Ricky Gervais will perform at the Alban Arena, in Civic Close, on Monday (June 5).

The After Life and The Office star's last performance in the city (on Wednesday, April 19) sold out within hours of going on sale.

He will now bring his Armageddon tour to St Albans for a second date.

The Alban Arena website states: "Considered one of the most influential British comedians since Charlie Chaplin, Ricky Gervais returned to the stage with ‘SuperNature’ in 2021, following the global success of his recent Netflix stand-up special ‘Humanity’, which was his first in seven years.

"The creator and star of The Office, Extras, Derek, and the critically acclaimed hit After Life, Ricky Gervais has won countless awards.
